Hey good folks!

Well the dust has settled and the major part of saving our home is complete.  The main beam in the brick side of our home failed (broke) and caused sagging so we had it replaced.  This meant the house was jacked up, old beam removed and new one set in place.  Sounds simple but the entire kitchen was demolished in the process.  So we are rebuilding until the next major job.  What a job this was however now we are SOLID.

We also have a big hole cut in the side of our home where the doorway to our mudroom will be.  We are adding that in the next two weeks.

With this sub-freezing weather (and all of the work I've been doing on the house) I haven't been able to do more than step foot inside the high tunnels to check on things.  The greens have been frozen SOLID for a week now but on the sunny days thaw and absorb what they can of the delicious sunshine!  So stay tuned for our next greens sale which is, as always, dependent on weather!

We are currently accepting new members to our farm through our CSA so if you are interested or know anyone who is, let us know.  Stay warm!

Gratefully Growing,
Little Peace Farm
